DAS antennas
The antennas of an in-building network bring the signal into the spaces. An omnidirectional ceiling antenna radiates in all directions and suits open areas, offices and corridors. A panel antenna directs its energy one way, for example from a wall down a long corridor, into a hall or across a car park.
BDC DAS antennas come as single-port models and 2-port MIMO models. A MIMO antenna has two separate 4.3-10 ports, which improves 4G and 5G capacity where the network runs two parallel trunk lines.
Single-port models cover 380–3800 MHz and MIMO models 380–4000 MHz, so every antenna works from VIRVE/TETRA up to the 5G mid-bands. Gain, return loss and PIM per model are in the comparison table below.
